The VX1 Pro blocker features a large, reinforced HD blocking board designed for significant rigidity and precise puck deflection. The blocker features a flared upper board with a bigger curve at the top, this design helps easily direct and control rebounds.
This blocker has a redesigned ultra ridged internally laced HD sidewall, along with a new thumb opening for reduced stick resistance. The reinforced thumb insert combined with the built-in thumb pad offers enhanced impact resistance with excellent comfort. The palm of the blocker is made from VX suede with an antimicrobial grip overlay which helps grip the stick but also keeps your hand from sliding around the palm during play.
In the wrist of the blocker Vaughn has included an open cuff with elastic for better flexibility, with an adjustable wrist strap to create a secure custom fit. While the sideboard features a stiffer high-density shield wrapped in HD foam.
If you’re a goalie playing 2-4 times per week and are looking to experience some of the same top technologies but at a lower price point, the new Velocity VX1 pro blocker is a great option.
